We’re not a typical pizza shop. We’re not a typical fast casual restaurant. We are an elevated quick serve restaurant with a pizza focus, serving classic favorites like pizza by the slice, burgers, fries, subs and much more, all under one roof and in an efficient manner. Not only do we have an impressive menu variety which is affordable, but we also expertly deliver our entire menu out to our customers. What will I receive as part of the Rascal House franchise system?
When you are awarded a franchise, you will receive a comprehensive 8 week training to learn the business, along with a new store opening package, site selection support and access to our new store development team. As part of our franchise family, you'll also have access to our negotiated Rascal House volume pricing with vendors, proprietary recipes, systems for running high volume operations, proven delivery model built in to your business and management tools. You will also receive direct marketing, grand opening and ongoing general support.
Do I need to have restaurant experience?
Yes. Restaurant experience is a must. Running a restaurant is hard work. Running a high volume, highly profitable restaurant and leading a team of people successfully takes skill and training which requires restaurant experience.
Candidates with no restaurant experience may still be considered, but must be able to present themselves effectively in all aspects of management, team building, and have a strong track record of success that's obvious and verifiable.
Which states are currently open for franchising?
Currently, we are franchising in 29 states across the country with targeted areas in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri.
What is the initial fee?
To become a franchisee in the Rascal House franchise system there is a fee of $39,500.
What is the initial investment?
The Initial Investment Range is $498,200 - $695,100. You'll need approximately $100,000 per restaurant, which can include liquid cash and investments. In most cases a net worth of at least $700,000 is necessary. You may apply for financing here.
Are there ongoing fees paid to Rascal House?
Yes. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continual research and development of new tools, products, programs and upgrades to the brand and its systems.
What training will I receive?
As a new franchisee, you will receive 6-8 weeks of hands-on training for every aspect of your new business. Your training will include operations training, business administrative training, POS training, and our proprietary marketing training for successful growing your new business.
Training will include:
- 2 weeks of remote training sessions (ex. Webinars) including financial, administrative and POS training
- 3-4 weeks onsite in our training store
- 2 weeks in your store with you and your team
Ongoing training and support will always be available to you as a Rascal House franchise operator.
How much money can I make?
The amount of money you make will depend on a variety of factors, many under your control like store management, variable costs, local advertising and your investment. Once you become a franchisee, we can help you chart your multi-year financial plans and break-even projections based on high, medium or low return outcomes.
